A slow drain is a nuisance. A sewer backup is an emergency. Mountain Vista Plumbing clears drains and sewer lines throughout San Tan Valley, and we find out why they clogged so you're not calling again next month.
When a clog keeps coming back, we use a sewer camera to show you exactly what's in your line. Then we recommend a real fix, with a firm price before we start.

What San Tan Valley Homeowners Should Know
Know who handles your sewer main. Most San Tan Valley neighborhoods are served by EPCOR's San Tan wastewater system, which EPCOR took over from Johnson Utilities in 2021. The line from your house to the sewer main is generally the homeowner's responsibility. If the public main is backed up, EPCOR handles it. We'll help you figure out which one is causing the problem.
Some homes are on septic. Larger lots outside the sewer system may use private septic tanks. We clear the drain lines inside your home and out to the tank. Septic pumping and inspections are handled by septic companies, and we'll tell you if it looks like time to call one.
Very hard water builds scale in drains too. At 15 to 18 grains per gallon, minerals combine with soap and grease to coat the inside of drain pipes. Hydro jetting cleans the pipe wall instead of just poking a hole through the buildup.
Lines can sag over time. Soil settling can create a low spot, or belly, in a sewer line. Waste collects there and clogs keep coming back. A camera inspection finds it.
San Tan Valley Drain Cleaning FAQ
Is it my line or EPCOR's?
If only your home is backing up, the problem is usually in your line. If neighbors are having the same problem, call EPCOR. We'll help you tell the difference.
Should I use chemical drain cleaners?
We don't recommend them. They rarely clear a full clog, can damage pipes, and can harm a septic system.
Can you come out after hours?
Our phones are answered 24/7. If sewage is backing up, call right away.
