Mesa, AZ Drain Cleaning & Sewer Service — Honest Pricing, Local Service
Clogs, Slow Drains, Sewer Backups & Camera Inspections
Clear Drains, Clear Answers
A slow shower drain is annoying. Water coming up in the tub when you run the washer is a warning. When more than one drain backs up at once, the problem is usually in your main sewer line, not the fixture.
Mountain Vista Plumbing is based in Mesa and clears drains and sewer lines all over the city. We don't just punch a hole in the clog and leave. When a problem keeps coming back, we run a sewer camera to show you exactly what's in the line, then recommend the fix that actually solves it, with a firm price first.

Why Mesa Drains Clog
Older Mesa homes have older sewer pipe. Neighborhoods in central and west Mesa include many homes from the 1950s through the 1970s, and some still have cast iron or clay sewer lines. These pipes crack, corrode, and collect scale on the inside. We recently replaced a failing cast iron line in Mesa. See the cast iron to PVC sewer project.
Mature trees are finding the sewer line. Roots seek out moisture and slip into small gaps at pipe joints. Once inside, they catch everything that goes down the drain. A camera inspection tells you if roots are the problem. Read about a tree root sewer repair in Mesa.
Grease is the number one kitchen clog. Cooking grease goes down as a liquid and hardens in the line. Wipe pans with a paper towel and toss it in the trash, and you'll prevent most kitchen backups.
Sagging lines hold water. Soil movement can create a low spot, or "belly," in a sewer line. Waste settles there and clogs keep coming back. A camera inspection finds it so you're not paying for the same clog twice.
Mesa Drain Cleaning FAQ
Should I use chemical drain cleaner?
We don't recommend it. It rarely clears a full clog and can damage older pipes. Here's what actually works on a clogged drain.
Who is responsible for my sewer line?
In most East Valley cities, the homeowner owns the line from the house out to the public sewer main. If you're not sure where yours ends, we'll help you figure it out.
How often should my main line be cleaned?
Most homes only need it when there's a problem. If roots keep coming back, scheduled cleaning every 12 to 18 months can prevent backups.
